Presenting: Lessons Learned MOSS Implementation - a Small Business Perspective
Mr. Whipple has 14 years of experience managing complex projects for government and commercial clients through management of various information systems. He has a diverse background which has allowed him to work as an environmental engineer, business analyst, and IT project manager. He is currently the IT Director for PHE, a local small business focused on environmental management and IT consulting. He has extensive technical skills including, requirements analysis, database design, network management, computer-aided design, and geographic information systems.
Presentation Abstract:
Mr. Whipple will discuss his company's experience implementing SharePoint, with an emphasis on lessons learned. PHE deployed SharePoint in 2006, quickly upgraded from 2003 to 2007, moved their Intranet site to MOSS, and started transitioning business processes to MOSS in 2007. Today, the entire company uses SharePoint for various business processes and project collaboration.
